Focus, focus, focus! I hear from many people with disabilities, family members, and professionals through my presentations, via Emails, phone calls, etc., and there's a lot of frustration, gnashing of teeth, anger, and more—energy-sapping emotions that get us nowhere. In addition, we often spend our time on things that aren't meaningful and relevant to the person with a disability we're trying to assist. (A variety of articles in the Explore section can get us moving in a better direction.)

Let's make the choice to be laser-beam focused on what's really important in the life of a person with a disability (living a real life), and we'll also see the frustration, anger, and teeth-gnashing melt away—and that's a joyous experience!
