BADGES

How many places can you wear a little badge with a big message? On your shirt, of course, but how about on your purse or briefcase, on a backpack or padded notebook, or on the seatback of a wheelchair?

And which of these designs represent your beliefs or the feelings of a loved one? Browse all the messages in the Design Gallery ---especially the NEW DESIGNS ("Attitudes" courtesy of HenryHolden.com, "Believe in...", and "Special Education..."). The "Voices" designs (in the lower portion of the Gallery) represent the feelings of many children and adults with disabilities!

Buy for yourself or a loved one to share your personal beliefs, or give to others to stimulate New Ways of Thinking! Wear one or two at an IEP or other planning meeting and hand a few out to those in attendance! Each badge is 2 1/4 inches in diameter with a pin back.

$2.00/each.

Our words reflect the way we think, so let's get rid of descriptors like "mentally handicapped, physically disabled, mentally retarded, learning disabled" and other words that focus on the condition instead of the person. People First Language promotes dignity and respect for all!
